One of the best kept secrets at the Austin City Limits is that some of the best bands there play secondary shows at various venues around town. There's not much info on this yet, but wait to see what pops up.

The festival happens in Zilker Park on September 26-28th.

This year's festival also includes names like Spiritualized, Octopus Project, Gnarls Barkley, David Byrne, M. Ward, Man Man, Jenny Lewis, Band of Horses, Stars, the Raconteurs, Silversun Pickups, Beck, Tegan and Sara, the Mars Volta, the Kills, Mates of State, Antibalas, Gogol Bordello, and a lot more (see below).

The festival also ends up being featured on late night installments on PBS, often around midnight, so check local American listings to see when it plays in your area.
