Dublab Launches INTO INFINITY

By: Spacelab Research Staff

As if 08.08.08 wasn't a big enough day already, what with the Olympics and the 88BoaDrum thing, DubLab had to go and make it the day that they launched Into Infinity. Sounds like it goes on forever. But what does all of this mean?

It's a crowd-sourcing, interactive project that seeks to combine visuals and audio samples into a collaborative remix project put together by Dublab and Creative Commons.

It features audio contributions from Daedelus, Dntel, Hrishikesh Hirway, Bracken, and more that can be downloaded and remixed into unique combinations. Throw in visuals in the form of circular images and you've got the visual goods to go with your audio mashup.

Dublab is asking people to download, get busy, then submit the goods back to them. They'll be announcing a public exhibition and online happening to show all of these remixes soon.
