Nagisa Ni Te are busy preparing a new release for the late Summer, titled Yosuga. They've made an MP3 available from the album, and it's called Premonition.
It come's off sounding like a shimmering piece of 70's AM radio pop, the kind that would eventually make it to a compilation of 70's hits titled Mellow Gold, or Soft Sounds of the Seventies. The fact that this is delivered by a duo from Japan makes it even more interesting and complex. Sometimes people from outside of America can do America better than America can.
The whole enchilada (I'm trying to work the cross-cultual internationalist angle here) comes out on September 9th, via Jagjaguwar Records.
