Alias returns this summer with a new album titled Resurgam. He's been toiling over the boards all winter, and is now ready to release the album on August 26th via Anticon. It features appearances by Yoni Wolf (of Why?) and The One AM Radio.

Resurgam is a home recording done over the winter of 2007. It bubbles with warmth, despite being recorded during the dead season. Lots of drum fills, spontaneous bursts of sounds, and a new ambient direction. Check out the track "Well Water Black", featuring Yoni Wolf, to see what it sounds like.
