The Most Serene Republic Announce Their Most Newest Album

Broken Social Scene peeps The Most Serene Republic are getting ready to release the next masterpiece this Fall. The album is supposed to be influenced by both jazz and prog. How does that fit together with their patented sound? We'll have to wait and see.
It's titled Population and will be released on October 2nd via Arts&Crafts. It's the follow up to their last full-length album Underwater Cinematographer, although they threw out a tour-only EP titled Phages inbetween the two releases.
