Black Mountain is the Place to Be… + VIDEO

Four guys, a girl and a Black Mountain. From Vancouver in Canada, Black Mountain is a five member band preparing to trek back out on the road for a summer into fall tour after having been off the stage for nearly two years. Jagjaguwar says they will be bringing a very special release with them on this tour, but has not yet released details.

The crew will have one last show in their home town on August 12th at Cates Park and then they are heading to Utah with the Cave Singers (recently signed by Matador). Seattle Washington sees them last on October 27th and then Jagjaguwar is giving them a break until December. Their last stop will be on December 7th at Butlins Holiday Centre, for the All Tomorrow’s Parties “Nightmare Before Christmas” event, in England.

All this excitement is in preparation for a Black Mountain new release launching in early 2008!
