Handsome Furs Expand Summer Tour Into Fall + VIDEO
By: Spacelab Research Staff Sub Pop band Handsome Furs are expanding their tour into the Fall as they line up dates to spend October in Europe. They're touring in support of their newly minted Plague Park.
Dan Boeckner and Alexei Perry (who make up Handsome Furs) show a darker, grainier, stripped-down side of Boeckner's musical capabilities as well as showcasing his overlooked songwriting abilities. It is powerful and hypnotizing and unlike much of the Montreal music scene, very heavy.
