By: Spacelab Research Staff Arab Strap may have stopped making albums, but Aidan Moffat is forging ahead with his L. Pierre project, this time releasing an album titled Dip. The album will be out on February 6th on the Manchester, UK-based Melodic Recordings.
Although most of the music was created by Moffat himself, he also works with Stevie Jones, Alan Barr, and Allan Wylie.
After releasing the albums Touchpool (2005) and Hypnogogia (2002), Moffat focused on Arab Strap's release The Last Romance, along with Arab Strap shows. Hypnogogia became one of the best selling releases on Melodic.
Arab Strap announced earlier this year that the band was calling it quits, and is currently wrapping up its final tour.
