After playing a benefit show in September for Breast Cancer, The Cold War Kids decided to release the songs from the show via MP3 on their web site.
They played a bunch of cover songs... including songs by Fiona Apple, Elvis Costello and Tom Waits.
"We decided to play some covers that we like with Nathan singing and playing guitar, Jonnie on the drums, and Maust recording. It's a pretty informal loose performance but we decided to let you hear it anyway. Hope you enjoy!" said a message on their Web site.
