The 2007 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival has named the datesfor the 2007 festival... it will go down on April 27th-29th. That means they've added a third day to the already insanely popular music festival. The festival is located on the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
There hasn't been an official announcement of confirmed acts yet, as festival organizers are waiting until late January or early February of next year. It is known that Mexican duo Rodrigo y Gabriela have already said they will be playing.
Last year's Coachella event attracted more than 60,000 wild-eyed desert-dwellers and featured bands like Franz Ferdinand, Massive Attack, Bloc Party, and Wolf Parade.
Coachella organizers have also added a country music festival for the weekend following the big festival. Names include Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, and Emmylou Harris, and more, with more to be announced later.
