Les Georges Leningrad Take Their Chaos On The Road
By: Spacelab Research Staff
They almost sound like they bill themselves as representatives of Big oil and pharmaceutical interests in Canada, calling themselves "Montreal's finest petrochemical rock group." You can be sure that Les Georges Leningrad is just a little bit more loose and experimental than that. And now they've been let loose in the U.S., playing a bunch of shows in November and December.

"Bobo was at the time a bohemian singer, Mingo a contemporary music student at University of Montréal. Poney was writing hundreds of songs in a big schoolbook..." they say in their bio. Spacelab's Alex Hegazy described them like this "...If there is life on mars then Les Georges Leningrad have found it, embraced it, slept with it and given birth to its offspring."
